Zheng Changling, born in March 1962 in Ningde, Fujian Province, is a member of the Communist Party of China. He graduated from the Conservatory of Music of Fujian Normal University in 2004 and received a doctoral degree in literature.In 2005, he was appointed as a researcher of the Chinese Academy of Art and a tutor of master's degree students.In 2018, he was hired as a doctoral tutor.In 2019, he was appointed as a member of thefirstadvisorycommittee to International Center for Creativity and Sustainable Development under the Auspices of UNESCO. From 2005 to 2009, he served asdirector and vice ministerof the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center. Since January 2010, he has served as Deputy Director of the Cultural Development Strategy Research Center of theChinese National Academy of Arts.He has been engaged in the research of Chinese traditional music, the protection of Chinese intangible cultural heritage, the soft power of national culture and national cultural security. At present,he is mainly responsible for the construction of new high-end think tanks of culture and art and the strategic research of cultural development.
He has published papers and commented on more than 100 national core journals, such as “Musicology in China”, “People's Music”, “People's Tribune” and “Cultural Heritage”. He is currently the principal expert of Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Culture, entrusted the subject of “think tank type analysis and cultural think-tank mode”.
Zheng Changling is currently the head of the Chinese National Academy of Arts Studies "Research on the construction of a high level think tank for national culture and art", "The Belt and Road Initiative comprehensive collection of cultural arts series", "Confucianism and the Community Identity of Human Destiny ", and " Series of Academic Activities on Traditional Culture of College Students across the Straits”.He once edited the first 2016 International Academic Symposium on "The Belt and Road Initiative" Cultural Heritage (Quanzhou).
