The Creativity 2030 International Forum is an international exchange and cooperation platform launched by the ICCSD under the framework of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, aiming to promote cooperation among creative industries, sustainable development initiatives, and the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, and facilitate multi-level exchanges between China, the region, and the world. As the centre's annual flagship event, the forum has been successfully held for four consecutive editions.
In recent years, Beijing has introduced a series of policies to promote the deep integration of technology and culture, including Policies supporting the Beijing Future Digital Space Innovation Pilot Zone, Beijing Action Plan for Technology Empowering Cultural Innovation and Development (2025–2027), and Beijing Action Plan for the Development of the Sci-Fi Industry (2025–2027). Leveraging Beijing's strengths as both an international science and technology innovation center and a national cultural center, the forum will bring together global expertise to explore practical pathways for AI + Culture empowering sustainable development, promote international exchange of Beijing's cultural-tech achievements, and contribute Chinese insights and solutions to global governance in the integration of technology and culture.
